Outdoor (Indoor) Water Resistant Security Camera with DPS Imaging
technology that solves many of the shortcomings of conventional CCD
and CMOS sensors, this Pixim Seawolf Chip solution is excellent for
most common and many difficult Security Surveillance applications.
The Automatic Iris Lens copes with high illumination levels,
improves depth-of-field and passes maximum possible light under low
and zero illumination.
Specifically designed for surveillance in domestic and commercial
situations this Security Camera can be easily added to an existing
Security Recording system (or replace an under performing CCD
Camera), simply connect Video Output from Camera to an unused
Security DVR Video
input.
This
Security Camera can be easily connected to the Composite Video Input
(AV, Yellow RCA socket) on most TVs and Domestic or commercial
Recording Devices, if required a
Microphone can be easily added and a
single small diameter
Cable
used to carry Video, Audio & Power 20 or more metres.
Powered by Pixim's 'Seawolf Solution' this Security Camera has an
extraordinary 690 HTVL effective resolution,
this is far better than conventional Security Cameras,
HTVL Effective Specification.
Better
than a Dome, separate Lens and
LED glass stops harmful transmission of Infra-Red from Light
Emitting Diodes to Lens that is inherent with a one-piece Dome
leading to reduced contrast and a washed out image.

| About
Pixim: Pixim Inc. has developed unique imaging technology
that revolutionizes the way video cameras capture and process
images. Unlike traditional image capture technologies, where each
pixel cannot adjust to highlights and lowlights in the same scene,
Pixim's patented Digital Pixel System® technology empowers hundreds
of thousands of pixels to act like individual cameras constantly
self-adjusting. This all-digital system enables Pixim-powered
cameras to efficiently capture the whole picture, regardless of
lighting condition or application - thus securing the highest
resolution, natural color and clarity, while automatically
eliminating image-compromising visual noise (e.g., glare,
reflections). The result is more than superb image quality; it is
accurate, actionable information that gives users the strength of
certainty. Seawolf

Dynamic Range (more):
102 dB typically, 120 dB maximum,
Dynamic Range is illustrated on this page.
Smear (more):
Zero for most practical purposes, copes with highlights
better than ordinary CCD cameras,
Smear is illustrated on this page.
Spectral Response:
~ 400 to ~ 1100 nm with Infrared

Infrared Illuminator: 48 Light Emitting Diodes
(LED), automatically switch On/Off depending on illumination level.
Depending on Lens 'focal length' setting LEDs illuminate up to ~ 80%
of the Width-of-Vision at up to ~ 20 m depending on the Infrared
reflective characteristics of subject. Objects closer than ~ 2
metres may be overexposed when illuminated by LEDs.
IR-CUT motorised movable Infrared Cut Filter:
Yes, details below.
*Day/Night setting =
Automatic:

In Day mode (well lit, colour) mechanism
automatically positions IR-CUT optical filter between Lens and Image
Sensor to exclude Infrared radiation that would otherwise adversely
affect colour reproduction, this ensures colour
rendition not possible with ordinary non-filtered or
notch-filter type Day/Night cameras.
In Night mode (low light, monochrome) mechanism
automatically removes IR-CUT optical filter to allow Infrared
radiation to pass boosting low light and Infrared sensitivity, the
result is significantly better night images using inbuilt
Infrared Illuminator
or with Infrared rich light sources. Infrared
Response without Infrared filter is ~
700 to ~ 1100 nm
better than a

Camera notch IR Filter', additional
